1. Sit Down and Relax Girl
Your body will be much more relaxed in a seated position, I’m not talking about sitting on the floor with your legs crossed either. If that’s not comfortable for you, then don’t do it. You can sit in a chair with your feet on the floor or you can even kneel on the floor if you prefer. Just make sure you’re in a comfortable and stable position.

2. Set a Time Limit
Setting a time limit will help you stay mindful in the practice. Instead of thinking about all those emails you need to send out or how long it’s been since you started your meditation, set a timer so your only focus is on meditating. If you’re just starting out, choose a shorter time frame, like 10 minutes. As you start to feel more comfortable you can always increase your time.
3. Breathe in and Breathe Out
Use your breath to guide your meditation and help you stay focused and relaxed, but remember to breathe naturally. Breathe in, breathe out, repeat.
4. Notice When You Wander
Your mind is gonna wander girl and that’s ok. Just make sure when this happens to refocus your attention on your breath. You got this!

5. Be Mindful
Now this is the important one babe. Be mindful and don’t judge yourself. Meditation takes practice and it can sometimes be hard to let your thoughts go. So be patient, love yourself, and remember you are capable of anything. You’re doing great!
