How To Create Content that Sells



So, let’s talk about Creating Content that SELLS!


Now, you may have heard about content pillars, but perhaps you don’t know how to maximize their power. 


I’m here to tell you that the power of your content can turn a cold client into a warm client. 


SO, if you are struggling with:

How would it feel to have clients in your inbox saying “your latest post resonated with me so much, how can I work with you?” 


Sounds dreamy right? Well, that is the goal! 



How does the process look?


You may have heard that there are 4 types of subject categories you need to focus on:


  • Educational

  • Storytelling 

  • Inspirational 

  • Sales


Now, how does one take this information and turn it into fire content? How can you take these types of posts and make writing your content easier and heaven forbid… enjoyable. 


That’s what I’m here to share with you today. The secret sauce to High Converting Content that SELLS!


Let’s get into it, shall we?


#1: What are your brand pillars? 


What do you want people to know you for? What does your brand represent? What is your expertise?


To maximize your output, it would be best to select three main pillars. Let’s break it down and say that you want your pillars to be about Launching, Profitable Product Suite and Branding tips. You could then create content reflecting these three pillars. Don’t think you have to stick to these same pillars forever. They may change as your brand evolves, but choose three and ride with them!


#2: What are your content subjects?


Your content subjects include the FEAR, PAINS and GOALS of your ideal client. 


What does this look like?


Fear: What does your ideal client fear? Ex. Fear of Investing 

Pain: What pain are they going through RIGHT NOW? Ex. Creating Consistent Content

Goal: Where do they want to be? Dig deep. Ex. Consistent $5k months


Sounds dreamy right? Well, that is the goal! ost. You can also add a call to action in your header so an example of this would be. u state that you are giving 3 tips. I need to CLEARLY be able to and see the tips so they need to be sectioned off as 1, 2, 3. Very self-explanatory.


You still with me? You got this. 


So, remember those subject categories that most people know about? (AKA storytelling, educational) Well, this is how you’re going to spice up everything we just talked about. We don’t want to sound repetitive and this is how it goes. 


Educational Post: How to, 3 tips, etc 

Connection/ trust post /inspirational: Testimonials, behind the scenes, quotes, motivational 

Conversational/storytelling: Questions, personal story, business story


So by converting every pain point into 3 different POST styles it allows you to create balanced content. Meaning you aren’t only educational, you aren't just inspirational, and you aren't only storytelling.


#4 Formatting your post


So, when we are writing our post structure we want to make sure we are doing it in a very distinct way because as humans we can all get pretty lazy. 


So when we format our captions like:

Header: This is the first sentence of your post. You can also add a call to action in your header so an example of this would be. 


The #1 reason why you are fear failing in your business + HOW TO FIX IT

3 tips on how to increase your visibility  [save this for later]


Hook: is going to remind the reader that they need to continue reading the post. This can be anything that will keep the reader interested. So this could be a joke, or shocking.


Body: Will look different depending on the type of post you are doing. So for example, if you are doing an educational post and you state that you are giving 3 tips. I need to CLEARLY be able to and see the tips so they need to be sectioned off as 1, 2, 3. Very self-explanatory.


CTA: Where do we want them to go, what do we want them to do? WE need to TELL THEM to do something! 


Try to be as SPECIFIC as possible


REMEMBER WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR CONTENT That Sells THERE ARE 4 MAIN GOALS.


  1. Get Clear on your Brand Pillar

  2. Determine your Content Subject

  3. Create your Category Content

  4. Create format your post seamlessly
